Delenta alternative

A simpler Delenta alternative for solo coaches

Delenta is an all-in-one coaching platform that keeps adding surface: lead capture, landing pages, group coaching, a course creator, team seats. If you run a growing coaching business with associates and a funnel, that breadth is the point. If you are one coach with a calendar and a client list, you end up paying for floors of a building you never visit. Coach Recap is practice management for a practice of one: clients, scheduling, session notes, programs and payments, free for your first three clients.

What Delenta does well

Credit where it is due. Delenta packs a lot into one subscription: lead management and a branded landing page on every plan, group coaching with group video sessions from the Pro plan up, a digital course creator, client onboarding workflows and custom branding on Premium, and a Teams plan with multi-coach assignment, roles, payroll reporting, white label branding and HIPAA compliance. Payments run through Stripe or PayPal, calendars sync with Google and Outlook, and the integration list (Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams, PayPal, Stripe, Outlook Calendar, Google Calendar, MailerLite, MailChimp, Zapier) is long. For coaching companies, especially teams, that list is a real argument.

Where it pinches for solo coaches

1. No free plan

Delenta offers a 14-day free trial, no credit card, but no free plan. From day 15 you pay $29/month on Starter, and that tier caps you at 10 client portals. Coach Recap is free for up to 3 active clients with no time limit and no credit card. You can run your first paying clients through it before the software costs you anything.

2. The client-limit ladder

On Delenta, growth means tier-hopping: 10 client portals on Starter ($29), 40 on Pro ($49), unlimited on Premium ($79). A solo coach crossing 10 clients gets a price bump to $49 even if they need nothing else from the Pro tier. On Coach Recap, $29/month covers up to 20 clients, which is more than the average coaching practice: the ICF's 2025 Global Coaching Study puts the average at 12.4 active clients per coach (see our coaching industry statistics). Unlimited is $79 on Coach Recap and $79 on Delenta.

3. Breadth you may never use

Course creator, sales pages, lead funnels, group packages: for many solo coaches these stay switched off while still shaping the interface, the onboarding and the price. Even the mobile app appears on Delenta's pricing page as a Premium-tier feature. Coach Recap ships its web, iOS and Android apps on every plan, including the free one, and makes the opinionated choices for you: every client gets a profile with session history, goals and open action items; notes link to goals; unfinished action items carry over to the next session.

Who should stay on Delenta

Honest answer: some coaches should. We make software for a practice of one, and Delenta is built for more than that.

  • You run group programs, cohorts or group video sessions
  • You sell self-paced courses alongside coaching
  • You work with associate coaches or plan to build a team
  • You need white label branding or HIPAA compliance
  • You want PayPal as a payment option

Who should switch

If you coach one-on-one and want your clients, sessions, notes, forms and payments in one place; if you have fewer than 20 clients and would rather pay $29 than $49 for that; if you are starting out and want real software at zero cost until your practice justifies paying; or if you keep catching yourself using 20% of a platform and paying for 100%: Coach Recap will feel like a relief.

No credit card. Set up in 5 minutes. $29/month for up to 20 clients when you grow.

Frequently asked questions

Is Coach Recap cheaper than Delenta?

Up to 3 clients, yes by definition: Coach Recap is free and Delenta has no free plan. Between 11 and 20 clients, Coach Recap is $29/month where Delenta's Starter cap of 10 client portals pushes you to Pro at $49/month. At unlimited scale both charge the same number, $79 against $79, so the difference there is scope, not price: Delenta's Premium includes courses and branding tools, Coach Recap stays focused on practice management.

How much does Delenta cost?

Delenta has three self-serve plans on monthly billing: Starter at $29/month for 10 client portals, Pro at $49/month for 40 portals, and Premium at $79/month for unlimited portals. A Teams plan for multi-coach businesses is priced on request, with a licence fee per seat. Annual billing saves up to 25% on annual billing. There is a 14-day free trial, no credit card, but no free plan. Prices verified November 2026.

Can I import my clients from Delenta?

Yes. Export your client list from Delenta, add your clients in Coach Recap and attach your existing notes and documents to their profiles. Connect your Google or Outlook calendar, share your new booking link, and recreate any packages with sessions remaining as programs. For most solo practices the move takes an afternoon.

What does Coach Recap not do that Delenta does?

Lead capture, landing pages, sales funnels, a course creator, group video sessions, team seats, white label branding and PayPal payments. If any of those is essential to your business, Delenta or another broader platform is the better fit.
